A premier New Orleans band providing music for conventions,
corporate events, weddings, receptions, fairs & festivals, New Orleans Food
& Music themed events & Mardi Gras events world-wide.
The New
Orleans Garden District Orchestra has performed worldwide in Buenos
Aires, Argentina, San Paulo, Brazil and Istanbul, Turkey for New Orleans Food
& Music themed events and festivals. The NOGDO
has performed in New Orleans for hundreds of functions over many years including
conventions & corporate events, nightclubs, many “Jazz Wedding”
ceremonies, wedding receptions, Mardi Gras parties and more.
The
NOGDO can perform all of one style or a combination of: New Orleans jazz
(Dixieland/Traditional jazz), Classic jazz standards or Big Band from the
40’s, 50’s & 60’s such as “It Had To Be You” or “Don’t Get
Around Much Any More,” Bebop, Rhythm & Blues, Latin and when requested
in advance can perform the funky Dr. John or Professor Longhair style. Those
just mentioned are what we specialize in but we also perform many of the popular
international styles with a combination or complete theme. We have performed for
German/Polka-October-fest’s, Brazilian, Cuban, Dominican Republic - or all
Latin, Italian, French, Danish, Japanese/Asian and many other styles. If the
music is available we will perform the songs with an incredible jazz flavor.
The
Garden District Orchestra
is entertaining and comfortable performing for private corporate functions with
50 people to jazz festival stages with 2000 plus people. Whatever your musical
needs may be, the New Orleans Garden District
Orchestra will entertain and satisfy.
